Set of 7 antique hand-painted imari porcelain plates

This is a striking set of 7 hand-painted antique Japanese Imari porcelain plates. Each plate is about 6 & 1/2" in diameter. Each plate is white porcelain painted with an under-glaze blue. Iron-red, green, orange, indigo blue, and gold are painted over glaze on the top of each plate. The under-side of each has just the blue under-glaze. There are no identity marks on the plates. The plates are most likely pre-1900 based on the colors and design. Two of the seven plates have no discernable chips. Each of the other five plates out of the seven have discernable chips on the rims. These can be seen in some of the photos. The chips are not that noticeable since the porcelain is white and the design allows portions of the white to show. The chips blend in with the design somewhat.
