Tara Sperry Gold Tone & Clear Rhinestone Choker Necklace--Substantial
This handsome necklace is from the Tara Co., which was a division of the Sperry Manufacturing Company of Providence, RI (NOT connected to DeLizza & Elster and Juliana). It is a very well made, solid piece, circa 1950, with a focal piece of smooth, scrolled gold tone metal accentuated by clear baguette rhinestones and an oval rhinestone drop. It is suspended from a heavy "s" link gold tone chain that fastens with a fold-over clasp.
Total length is 15". Focal piece is 2 ¼" horizontally and about 1 ¾" vertically. Fold-over clasp is marked Tara with a large T followed by lower-case script. It shows only normal vintage wear and is in excellent vintage condition.
