How Now, Round Owl?--Owl Figural Gold Tone & Rhinestone Brooch Pin
This pudgy fellow is just cute as a button! Made of antiqued gold-tone metal, the hairy feathers on his body are heavily textured and dimensional. He has three-taloned feet and melting green cabochon eyes! Round clear rhinestones stud the branch he's perched upon, the widow's peak between his ears, and also encircle his neck. Such a cutie!
Measures 1 ½" north-south by 1 ¼" east-west and ½" deep. Stones are glued in. Pin stem and safety catch work well--some plate loss on pin stem. There is a bit of plate wear on the edges of the branch, the top of his head, and also along the raised edges of the area around his neck. This pin is in very good to excellent vintage condition.
