Unopened (but empty) Penn Champ Lighter Fuel
This is an empty Penn Champ lighter fuel, or fluid container. It has never been opened, but the contents have long ago evaporated. It is 5 inches high, 2 and 1/4 inch wide and 1 inch deep. The can is in excellent condition. Made in Butler Pennsylvania, Penn Champ was a division of Penn Corporation. A quick search of the internet shows neither of these companies are in existence (under these names) today. I know this can is at least 30 years old.

Done in bright yellow, dark blue and white it is truly nice looking. I can detect no rust what so ever.
One side panel reads: CAUTION-FLAMMABLE MIXTURE DO NOT USE NEAR FIRE OR FLAME. N. Y. F. D.C. OF A. NO 4038 DIRECTIONS: REMOVE CAP, PIERCE OR CUT TOP.KEEP CLOSED WHEN NOT IN USE. WIPE LIGHTER DRY BEFORE OPERATING
The other side panel reads: REFINED PETROLEUM NAPHTHA USE WITH CARE TO AVOID ACCIDENTAL FIRES KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN IF SWALLOWED, DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. CALL A PHYSICIAN IMMEDIATELY CONTAINER AND CONTENTS MADE IN USA PENN CHAMP (DIV. OF PENN CORPORATION), BUTLER, PA. 16001.
