Vintage 1950's Hand Painted Wooden Postcard Watkins Glen New York waterfall Made in Japan

This is definitely an unusual item for the postcard and hand made collector OR as a special treat for yourself. Measuring 31/2 x 51/2 and 1/8th inch thick this wooden postcard was hand painted in Japan during the 1950's-1960's. There are 6 postcards each having the same scene but being unique in their own way. The scene is a waterfall just past the entrance of the Watkins Glen State Park in the beautiful New York Finger Lakes district. This is the entrance to a several million old gorge that you can walk through seeing many little waterfalls, water pools,etc. Mother Nature at her best. The postcards are unused. On the back stamped in purple shows where to put the stamp, Japan, along with A Hand Painted Greeting From Watkins Glen NY. When ordering you will get the next one available. All are in beautiful condition. Would look great matted and framed.
