Booths British Scenery Blue and White Jardiniere
A blue and white transfer printed jardinière or cache pot in the British Scenery pattern made by Booths in Staffordshire. The pattern repeated three times around the eight sided centre of the body of the jardiniere. The bottom is marked Booths Silicon China England dating the jardinière to the 1910-1920 period. There is a raised mark with the registered number for the shape but I cannot make out the details.
The jardinière is in very good condition. There are no chips, cracks or restoration. There are a few utensil marks and slight discolouration to parts of the glaze on the inside from normal usage.
The jardiniere is 6.5 inches wide at the rim and 6.1 inches high.
