Korda Thief Of Bagdad Brooch

Korda Thief Of Bagdad produced by the Rice-Weiner Co. to promote director Alexander Korda's movie, Thief of Bagdad jewelry is c.1940. This oblong brooch has a beautiful gold tone setting embellished with jewel tone teardrops and navettes in amethyst, sapphire blue, ruby red and emerald green. Four creamy white synthetic pearls and blue enameling complete the setting. The brooch is signed on the back and measures 1-3/4" X 3-1/4 inches wide. Plating, enamel and stones are impeccable.
