These beautiful handmade Balinese Wayang Kulit Shadow Characters are individually carved and expertly painted in Sukawati Bali, home to the best shadow play makers and performers. The figures are made of rawhide and are used in traditional performances of episodes of the Mahabarata in Bali, Indonesia. These particular four large characters include intricate and delicate carving by master makers in the family of I Wayan Nartha of the Babakan Community.

Please choose one of the four characters detailed below:

#1. Bima, second born of the heroic Pandawa brothers, Bima's father Bayu is the god of the wind, making Bima very strong and full of energy. He hails 18" tall x 7" wide plus an additional 8" for the stick below his body.

#2. Dewa Indrah - god of heaven and father of Arjuna, third born Pandawa brother. He measures 17" tall x 6.5" side with an additional 7.25" for the stick below his body.

#3. Duryodana, first born of the one hundred Korawa sons, rival cousins of the Pandawas measures 18" tall x 7.5" wide plus an additional 7" for the stick below his body.

#4. Prince Karna, son of Surya, god of the sun was the first illegitimate son of Princess Kunti, who was testing a mantra which was given to her by a visiting priest. He measures 16" tall x 6" side with an additional 7" for the stick below his body.
