Balinese Wayang Kulit Shadow Characters - Medium

These beautiful handmade Balinese Wayang Kulit Shadow Characters are individually carved and expertly painted in Sukawati Bali, home to the best shadow play makers and performers. The figures are made of rawhide and are used in traditional performances of episodes of the Mahabarata in Bali, Indonesia. These particular four large characters include intricate and delicate carving by master makers in the family of I Wayan Nartha of the Babakan Community.

Please choose one of the two medium characters detailed below:

#1. Prince Dusasana, brother of Duryodana, versed in lay priestly duties as evidenced by his headdress. The Prince measures 16" tall x 6.5" wide plus an additional 7.5" of stick at the bottom of his body.

#2. A King measuring 17" tall x 6.25" wide with an additional 7.25" of stick at the bottom of his body.
