Haviland Limoges Pansies Cake Plate Artist Signed

Great hand painted Haviland Limoges, France cake plate, decorated with pansies and buds amongst delicate greenery, with a gilded rim and open double handles.

According to Gaston’s “Collector’s Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain” the plate has Mark 9, underglaze initials in green, underscored with an “L” added to indicate “Limoges,” dating this lovely cake plate to circa 1888-1896. Artist signed “KMH”.

Measures 10 inches in diameter, from handle to handle.

Condition is very good, with slight wear to the gilding.
