African Inspired Sterling Silver Earrings with Bone Beads

Handcrafted, textured sterling silver was combined with African bone beads to create these tribal inspired earrings. I drew the shapes for the earrings and then sawed them out of silver sheet. I created the texture pattern into the metal to echo the pattern in the brown African beads. The silver was also lightly hammered for additional background texture; and then oxidized, buffed and hand polished to bring out the pattern's detail.

The earrings measure approx. 2" in length and just a little less than 1" in width (at the widest point). They are signed on the back with my initials and the sterling stamp. The ear wires are sterling silver.
