Handmade Copper Earrings with Organic Texture and Turquoise

These earrings feature handcrafted textured copper along with stacks of turquoise beads. I drew the shapes for the earrings and then sawed them out of copper sheet. I created the organic texture into the metal; and then oxidized, buffed and hand polished them to bring out the rustic detail. Stacks of turquoise beads were added to complete the bold, earthy and organic look.

The earrings measure approx. 2-1/2" in length and 3/4" in width (at the widest point). They are topped off with niobium ear wires, which is a hypoallergenic material. They are long and striking, but yet lightweight and comfortable to wear.
