Charoite and Sterling Silver Pendant - Handmade and One of a Kind

This unique pendant features a gorgeous purple Charoite stone along with hand fabricated sterling silver. This stone has a great natural occurring pattern that consists of abstract lines of purple and white. I designed the shape of the pendant to follow the shape of the stone. I sawed it out of sterling silver sheet, and then hand stamped the texture pattern into the metal. I created the pattern to echo the pattern in the stone. The Charoite was then securely wire wrapped onto the metal with sterling silver wire. The metal was oxidized, buffed and hand polished to bring out the detail.

The pendant measures approx. 2-1/4" long by approx. 1-1/4" wide (at its widest point). It is signed on the back with my initials and the sterling stamp. It comes on an 18" oxidized sterling silver box chain, which has a lobster claw closure. The bail was designed large enough to also accommodate a beaded necklace, if you wish to create different "looks" with this piece.

This a great stone with a wonderful natural pattern -- which makes this pendant a unique, one-of-a-kind piece.
