Tribal Inspired Sterling Silver Earrings with Turquoise and Lapis

Handcrafted sterling silver was combined with earthy turquoise heishi beads and lapis nuggets to create these tribal inspired earrings. I designed the shapes, and then sawed them out of sterling silver sheet. I hand stamped the pattern into the metal; and then oxidized, buffed and polished it -- to give it a rustic, earthy and antiqued finish. The lapis and turquoise beads were added to dangle from the sterling silver shapes.

The earrings measure approx. 2" in length and 1-1/4" in width (at the widest point). They are topped off with sterling silver ear wires, and signed on the back with my initials and the sterling stamp.
