Handmade Copper Earrings with Turquoise and Copper Pearls
Hand textured copper was combined with copper pearls and turquoise to create these earthy, tribal inspired earrings. I sawed out the copper shapes with a jeweler's saw, files all edges until smooth, and then domed them for dimension. I created the tribal pattern into the metal; and then oxidized, brushed and polished it -- to bring out the texture's detail. Turquoise nuggets were added, along with the copper pearls, to complete the earthy, tribal look.

The earrings measure approx. 1-3/4" in length and 3/4" in width (at the widest point). They are topped off with niobium ear wires, which is a hypoallergenic material.
