Turquoise and Copper Tribal Inspired Earrings
These handmade copper earrings feature earthy turquoise nuggets, along with a hand stamped tribal pattern. I created the earring shapes out of copper sheet by sawing them out with a jeweler's saw. I then created and hand stamped the tribal pattern into the metal. The copper was domed slightly for dimension; and then oxidized, buffed and polished to bring out the deep, rich detail. Round turquoise beads and organically shaped turquoise nuggets were added to dangle from the bottom of the earrings. This turquoise is a rich shade of earthy green, along with a natural pattern matrix consisting of brown and copper streaks.

The earrings measure approx. 2-1/2" in length and 5/8" in width (at the widest point). They are topped off with handmade copper ear wires, which I hand forged out of copper wire. The ear wires were also textured to blend with the textured metal of the earrings. If you prefer niobium ear wires (which is a hypo-allergenic material), send me a note with the shipping instructions and I will gladly switch them out to niobium prior to sending.
These earrings are sleek and slender - and will make a unique, artsy and exotic statement.
