Vintage "Original Teddy" Beige Steiff Bear

This bear has its original goldtone metal signature button and yellow ribbon in its left ear documenting it as an authentic Steiff creation. There is a number 0102/26 on the ribbon, which also states it was made in Austria. The "26" refers to its size: 26 centimeters (10 inches).

Condition is superb, with NO rips, tears, stains, or missing or damaged fur. The ear button/tag is securely in place. I cannot tell if there was a chest tag -- if there was, it is missing. However, there is a "cowlick" in the fur on the chest, so it is very likely that the prior owner removed the tag.

According to the Steiff website, "Original Teddy, Beige" was made only between 1968 and 1990.
