Offering a primitive, hand carved wood wall plaque featuring an elephant family on trek. This plaque was relief carved from a single 1 1/2" thick slab of wood that measures 24" in length and almost 10" in height. There are two hanging hooks mounted at the back. The three elephants were carved out in high relief and the background was further carved in a honeycomb - net pattern. I think my aunt purchased this in Africa sometime in the 1970's.
