From an old estate collection, this tiny Victorian era pin measures just 3/4". It has a sparkling goldstone cabochon set in dainty filigree that is dark silver in color. I thought this was sterling, but I can't find a mark, so I can't say for certain. It has an old "C" style clasp and is in very good vintage condition. This is small enough to be suitable for a child or even a doll.

This little brooch was probably a souvenir of someone's visit to Lake George, New York. It is a tomahawk with the axe portion in the form of a Native American chief's face done in embossed gold-tone metal that looks to be gold washed. The handle is enameled in cobalt blue and includes the words "Lake George". This dates to around the late 1800's or early 1900's. It has an old "C" clasp in good working order.
