About Us
Mom and I are flea market, garage sale, junk shop afficionados always on the look out for unusual, rare, and/or beautiful items that should be in a better home where they can be loved, enjoyed, and appreciated. Additionally, Mom is an artist in oils, acrylics, and other mediums while I collect costume jewelry, particularly Trifari, as well as glass, porcelain, and paper items. Add in Mom's porcelain doll-making and you can see how our home would be very full of more items than we could ever appreciate. Since we both work full-time, a freestanding shop is not a reality for us; maybe roaming the countryside is not a reality for you so possibly we can help each other. I hope so!
I'm a historian by desire, schoolteacher by profession. Collecting is a passion of mine: depression and other glass; fine china and porcelain; dolls and paperdolls, costume jewelry-all things I've been collecting and/or selling for more than 30 years. My shop, Ironton Belle, was previously open on Ruby Lane so many of you have done business with me in the past. Merchandise sold in my shop is of excellent quality or I don't offer it-period! We don't deal in eBay items or mass-produced junk. As nearly as possible, I follow book-pricing guidelines on all merchandise.
Anytime you have questions about the shop or merchandise, feel free to e-mail or call. Thanks for your interest!
