This pretty floral ceramic juice pitcher was made in Japan by Norleans. The foil stamp is still on the bottom. This was part of a set I received in 1971, but the little juice cups have been long gone. The pitcher is in excellent condition. It has a small chip on the base which was glazed over, so obviously a manufacturing flaw, but otherwise is in perfect shape. The flowers appear to be handpainted under glaze. If you collect luster china, here is a beautiful yellow teacup and saucer in pearlized luster with gold trim and a big beautiful pink rose in the center of the pierced saucer. These pieces are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, except for some smudging of the paint on the green leaves below the rose. The rose design appears to be hand painted. The teacup measures about 4" in diameter at the rim and stands2.25" tall. The saucer is 5.75" in diameter.

This pretty blue pitcher embossed with fruit was produced by Inarco in Japan in the 1960s. The original labels are still attached indicating the pattern was Mood Indigo. The foil label on the bottom States Inarco Japan. There is also a black stamp stating E-2429 Inarco with the globe trademark. This neat little souvenir porcelain cup and saucer is marked Japan in red lettering. The saucer also is marked "Nico" hand painted. The saucer has a somewhat crudely painted Statue of Liberty in the center. The rest of the plate has an oval and V pattern in gold paint which matches the border ringing the little cup.
