This cute pink kitty holding a ball of yarn was produced by Prestige House in 1980, as marked on the bottom, as a cotton ball dispenser. It could also be used as a string holder, or even hold a silk flower to decorate your bathroom. It has a hole in the top and the bottom of the ball of yarn. The piece is in excellent condition.
