Anchor Hocking produced this Park Avenue in 1987 to bring back a similar line to its popular 1930's Manhattan line. These pieces blend well with Manhattan but are slightly different as as not to be an exact replica. This candlestick is the same as the Manhattan candlestick I have listed except that the bottom has the added design resembling a flower or sunburst, often used on Anchor Hocking pieces. This pretty little vase still has its original foil sticker which states Anchor Hocking Glass Company, Royal Ruby Anchorglass, Lancaster, Ohio, USA. Royal Ruby was produced from 1938-1977. The vase has been stored for over 20 years and has some residue inside. I will leave cleaning to the buyer as I don't want to take the chance of removing the label while cleaning it. Anchor Hocking, known as the Hocking Glass Company at the time, produced this Royal Ruby line called Coronation (also Banded Rib, or Saxon) from 1936-1940. These beautiful 4.5" wide bowls are listed as handled berry bowls in Collector's Encyclopedia of Depression Glass. They measure 5.5" wide from handle to handle. Five bowls are in excellent condition. This chip and dip bowl set in avocado green glass popular in the late 1960's and early 1970's is in the Soreno pattern produced by Anchor Hocking. The glass surface has a raised pebbled lined surface outside and a smooth surface on the interior. Both pieces are in excellent condition. A metal attachment originally came with the set that anchored the small bowl in an elevated position above the larger bowl but this piece is missing.
