The number 55 is on the back on the base, and incised on the bottom is a large "e". This piece is most likely from about the 1940s. It has numerous spots of paint loss and a hairline crack at the wrist of the child were it may have been repaired. It appears to be either chalkware or some kind of ceramic. This beautiful unmarked Blue Ridge cup and saucer is in the Colonial shape and Becky pattern. The colors are rich with deep red and yellow flowers, and grey and green leaves. The saucer is in very good shape with no chips and one small tight hairline crack . It also has a few light usage marks. It measures 5.75" in diameter. The cup has a light brown stain on the inside bottom and a small chip on the base which measures about a quarter inch wide.

Here's a charming Royal Copley vintage planter with a young Asian boy sitting beside a basket or barrel with oriental lettering on the front. Royal Copley was produced between 1942 and 1957 by the Spaulding China Company of Sebring, Ohio. This planter has been used as can be evidenced by some mineral deposits on the interior, otherwise he is in great condition with fine overall crazing but no chips or cracks. The piece measures about 6" tall and about 6.25" wide from toe to basket.
