This is one chubby paperweight! It weighs a hefty 2.11 pounds! Although we believe this piece to be 20th century and not antique, it is still very unusual to find a piece of shaped in the figure of the buddha. This form is sometimes called a hotei (happy buddha). It measures 4 1/2" x 5" x 4". Except for the flaked chip at the base edge (see last photo) it is in excellent condition.
