Hi, and welcome to Antiques and Treasures Untold!ï¾ My name is Kathy Thomas, and I live in Gastonia, NC, just outside of Charlotte. I first became interested in buying and selling antiques and collectibles when I worked for a short time at a shop owned by my friend, Nancy Stowe, owner of FancyNancy's Antiques and Collectilbles. Nancy presently has some of her merchandise available for purchase at Sleeptime Variety Center, a new merchant mall in Dallas, NC just north of Gastonia on the old Hwy 321. When I wanted to help Nancy set up an online store, she suggested I set up and run one of my own. I took her advice; and I have been online for over a year selling mostly on eBay and on another online store hosting site which was way to complicated to keep running. I recently decided to move my store to Ruby Plaza, mainly because of the success Ruby Lane has had; but also because of the simpleness of the Ruby Plaza platform.

I will also be listing antiques, collectibles, and vintage as I find and purchase them, mostly vintage jewelry, as that is what I really love.ï¾ I'm finding it hard to limit myself to just jewelry, however, so you never know what I might list!

My store on Ruby Plaza is not limited to antiques, collectibles, and vintage items.ï¾ I sell treasures of all sorts, including new and handcrafted jewelry and home decor, reproductions, reissues, and "in the style of" items in all categories, and new and unusual items for gift giving and/or your own enjoyment.ï¾ I also offer Fair Trade items in many categories including jewelry and home decor. More information about Fair Trade items can be found in the individual listings. All items in my shop are plainly marked as to their new or used status in the title and description of the merchandise.

The handcrafted jewelry I have in my store is all made by myself unless stated otherwise, such as the Fair Trade items I presently offer. Some jewelry is of my own design; but there will also be pieces I made from instructions in magazines and such.ï¾ Most of these were made as samples to classes I taught at a local craft store.ï¾ All jewelry will be plainly marked as to original design by myself, made from instructions by myself, or new jewelry bought wholesale for resale.
