We are offering this smiling Scottie or Scotsman character jug, with handle in the form of a feather. He is adorable, with lots of expressive facial details, nicely hand painted, and is wearing a tam `o shanter hat. Jug measures 4 1/2 inches high and 4 1/2 inches wide. I would date this to about the 1930s – 1940s, with the only marking on the base "Germany". It has a few minor defects.
