This regal pair of 1940s – 50s rooster and hen figurines have beautiful majolica style colorful bases and tail feathers, and red cold painted heads. The rooster measures 9 inches high and 5 3/4 inches across. The hen, or chicken, is 7 1/4 inches high and 5 1/4 inches across. Both are nicely detailed. This vintage 1940s ceramic dog figurine is a very self assured black and white Boston Bull. He is wearing his original brass chain collar with "Boston Bull" name tag, so no one can mistake his identity. He has no markings as to maker, and measures 5 1/4 inches wide and 3 3/4 inches high. Painted finish, in a soft matte, is intact, and he has no bruises, chips, breaks, repairs or damage. Excellent condition and difficult to find with the original collar. Who could resist that adorable face!
