Butterflies in flight are embossed in high relief around this McCoy Pottery cylindrical vase, in a matte aqua glaze. The Butterfly line was produced early 1940s and bears on impressed McCoy mark on the base. Vase measures 6 1/4 inches high and 3 inches across the top. Very nice condition, with no cracks, hairlines, crazing or stains. There is some manufacturing roughness along the base on one side, with some tiny chipping or glaze pops, but very minor. This early pair of Roseville Pottery candle holders, from the Carnelian I line, was produced from about 1915 thru the 1920s.
