This tantalizing late mid-century controlled bubble paperweight features the rich warm glow of butterscotch amber. It is mesmerizing, with its large teardrop shaped central bubble, surrounded by spiraling rows of tiny controlled bubbles, graduating in size to very tiny at the top. A narrow sliver of clear glass encompasses the amber, going up the sides and across the top. A pure visual delight. I purchased this hand blown glass paperweight in the 1970s.
