This lovely pair of Westmoreland milk glass candlesticks, in their Maple Leaf pattern, features an embossed maple leaf design, with willowy branches trailing up the stem. This pattern was originally issued in the 1930s as Bramble, and was reissued in 1955 in milk glass and renamed Maple Leaf. Style is a little unusual, with a large flat top surface and a domed base, and is not commonly found. The unique feature is that they can be reversed for use as a bonbon, nut or mint dish. This milk glass ruffled or crimp rim celery vase was made by Westmoreland Glass and was number PG169 in their Paneled Grape line #1881. It dates circa 1960s - 1970s. Celery vase measures 6 inches high and 3 1/2 inches wide. It has a footed base, topped by scallops, and vertical panels with grapes and leaves in high relief.
