This vintage Stanley No. 74 carpenter's double marking gauge is made entirely of boxwood, with brass trim. It features two adjustable slides, which glide smoothly, and measures 8 inches long and 14 3/4 inches when fully extended. The lacquered boxwood finish is in good condition. The marking measurements of 1" to 6" on one slide remain crisp & readable, except the 2" measurement which is worn.
