(Please click on the photos for better viewing) A wonderful example of traditional Japanese design and workmanship, this beautiful Geisha Kanzashi hair ornament from the Meiji period (1868-1912) features a graceful crane with butterflies, leaves and flowers, accented with 4 pieces of coral. It is carved with flowers and a branch with an ear spoon at the tip, and made of lacquered silver metal.
