These two 6 1/2" tall x 4" wide ceramic banks are in excellent vintage condition. The stoppers are in tact. There is a hallmark and same number marked on the bottom of each. These were brought out each year, filled with pennies to hold the holiday rhymes and storybooks. They worked great as bookends. Each season's end, I would wrap them and box them for the next year. I depleted the banks of the pennies... hard times. They will be empty and ready for you to fill.

This is a matching set of Japanese ceramic monks. The 7 1/2" tall Monk bank is in excellent condition with no chips ,cracks, or crazing. His stopper is present and there is a Lego sticker on the bottom. Each has fur like hair with a balding spot on the top of their heads. The salt and pepper shakers are 3 3/4" tall x 2 1/4" wide. There is very minor paint wear on the shaker with three holes. He was handled a bit more than the other.
