What a combo! Light blue cloud glass trade beads from Ghana with Chinese turquoise discs in a necklace featuring three large ornate Bali sterling beads. The necklace is 24-3/4 inches around and closes with a beautiful Bali sterling silver rope hook clasp. The trade beads (handmade and therefore slightly irregular) average 12x10mm. An eclectic mix of so-called trade beads and brass spacers was used to create this one-of-a-kind necklace. It is 21 inches around and fastens with a brass ox lobster clasp. Why "alleged" and "so-called"? Because three years ago I sold a trade bead necklace from this very shop and had the buyer tell me that she took it to her jeweler, who said they weren't authentic trade beads.
