I am not exactly sure what "color" to label this - it looks a lot like Apple Juice but there are brown swirls in the bakelite. I wouldn't label this as Root Beer either...way too light in color in my opinion! It is in very good condition; no chips or cracks. Great weight to this piece - it is thick!
