Marvelous old sterling silver souvenir spoon by the Watson Company commemorates the Great State of Illinois featuring the Illinois seal of an American eagle with a motto on ribbon in flight carrying a shield of stars and stripes at the top of the handle. Along the rest of the handle are corn stalks, fruit, and a tall pine tree obverse. On the bowl of the spoon is a depiction of Ft. Dearborn, 1880.
