Antique silverplate oyster fork in the Vernon pattern, ca. 1900, by Oneida is also know as Niagara. Vernon is a gorgeous, old Victorian pattern that features a classic scroll design on the front of the handle. The piece looks very much like sterling and the workmanship is exquisite. The oyster cocktail fork measures 6 1/2 inches and is marked, "R.S. MFG. Co. A1" which is an old trademark of Rogers Oneida. It is in great condition with no plate loss.
