This is a large soft orange, carnelian oval, flat back, opaque cabochon set in 4 prongs. It has a wisp of white at the top right of the stone and a soft white color comes across the cabochon like a sash. There is a crack that runs across the cabochon just below the middle of it, but it does not appear to be effecting the stone, and I think it gives it character. It is set in gold-tone with bubbles (which look like beads) surrounding the stone.
