Book Piece: Bud Hastins "Avon Collector's Encyclopedia" p.529 This is the vintage signed Avon 1968-1970 "Partridge and Pear Gift Soaps" shaped to look like a soft yellow colored partridge and 2 soft green colored pears. There is a little bit of green color on the partridge's head & one feather on the side with both of these being on the line from the mold. This likely happened in production. These would make great hostess soaps for all of the upcoming parties and celebrations of the holidays. ...
