About Us
We have been merchants and dealers for over 30 years. Big River Mercantile has operated online and in retail establishments since 1993.

We are located in the Quad Cities on the Illinois/Iowa border which is the only place where the Mississippi River runs East and West; and it does so just down the bluff from where we keep our stuff.

We are a general antiques and collectibles business many of which are featured in our sister shop, Forget-me-not Antiques on Ruby Lane. Here, we sell newer items, collectibles, music and general things of interest and beauty. Between our shops, our inventory ranges from new and vintage furniture to new and vintage jewelry, linens of all types, music, food products, supplies and things we make ourselves. We enjoy restoring old tube radios, so those will appear from time to time as well as some other vintage electronic equipment. We spent 20 years in Alaska and have a very nice collection of Alaska Native arts that we will sell.

All items will come to you from a smoke free environment and will be clean and properly packaged.
