One of my favorite examples of artist Mary L's gift for creating masterful jewelry, this splendid brooch measures approx. 3 1/2" long x 4 1/2" long. The Buddha's face is beautifully detailed and resembles a large chunk of turquoise. In point of fact, it is some sort of resinous material that comprises his visage. He is further enhanced by outspread copper-colored wings and four good-sized amethyst-purple-colored glass stones.
