Mid century ceramic porcelain planter or vase of Madonna and Child made in Japan by Shafford. Blessed Virgin Mary lovingly holds baby Jesus who is cuddled up to her. Height 8 inches, width 5 1/4 inches, length 5 1/4 inches. Aside from some staining and residue to the inside of the planter from use, it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
