For your consideration is this lovely hand painted porcelain Nippon Vase, cylindrical in design with a liberal application of gilt moriage and beading. The scene is of a country cottage with blooming trees and flowers. The colors include lavender, sage green, dark green ochers, and pinks. These colors are reflected in the moriage flowers around the vase. The back of the vase has a calm, serene scene using those colors. It also has a firing flaw in the blue area.
