For your consideration is this very collectible VFW, Veterans of Foreign Wars, belt buckle. It is still in the original wrapper and is dated 1987 - 1988. It measures 3 3/4" wide x 2 1/2" high. It has a very ornate raised gold toned metal design with the VFW shield and another shield set in with enamel. There are 2 vintage soldiers standing on either side and on top of a ribbon that reads "1987 - 1988, God and Country". This all rests on a sunburst background with a bead border.
