These beautiful hand painted enamel guilloche' and crystal rhinestone screwback earrings were created by the designers Kaufman & Ruderman, Inc., of New York City. They started their business in 1940 and began signing their jewelry "Karu" until about 1954 when they changed their signature to "Karu Arke". Therefore, these earrings date between 1940 and 1954.
