This striking glass compote has a softly rolled rim with a reverse painted border of black enamel. The top glass is also painted with a grouping of hand applied enamel flower buds. This is a dramatic compote that would make a lovely addition to a 1930's or 1940's decor. The compote stands 2 3/4 inches tall and the bowl has a diameter of just over 6 inches. The stem is plain and graceful. There are no chips or cracks or loss of the painted decoration. A lovely item for your home.

The dish measures about 7 inches from handle to handle and the bowl, alone, is about 6 inches in maximum dimension. There are no chips or cracks. This unusual clear glass 10 inch cake stand has a low standard that lifts the cake plate 1 3/4 inches off the table. The reverse side of the plate is cold painted in a flat black. There are green leaves and swirls of yellow enamel on the serving side of the plate. There are no chips or cracks but there are light knife marks from use as a cake stand. This would make a lovely stand for petit fours, cookies or tea sandwiches as well as serving a cake.

This amber crackle glass jug stands 4 1/2 inches tall and has a bulbous base and a long thin neck. The applied handle is threaded and is clear glass. The upper part of the applied handle has a small defect in the glass. I am not sure if this is a flaw from manufacture or if this is damage after the fact, however, the price reflects this imperfection. The base has a rough pontil.

This perky white milk glass basket was made by Imperial Glass and has the entwined IG mark impressed into the base mixed in with the stippled pattern that covers the base. Because the mark is so intermixed with the stippling on the base, I am not able to get a clear photograph of the mark. Flowers and ribbon bows are pressed into the basket and the handle is an entwined pattern. There are no chips or cracks present.

This lovely little hand blown crackle glass pitcher stands about 4 1/4 inches tall. It has a hand tooled ruffled rim and a clear applied glass handle. The bottom has a gather mark. There is a nice pattern of crackle on the body of the pitcher. Crackle glass makes a lovely display in an area that gets lots of natural light. The light plays beautifully on the colors and the crackle pattern.

This cute little clown in clear glass is a great figurine for display or use as a paperweight. The clown stands 4 1/2 inches tall. The clown is unmarked as to maker. Random small bubbles are present throughout the figurine. There are no chips or cracks present.

This lovely art glass vase is 5 1/2 inches tall. The bulbous body graduates to a slender neck that is topped by a ruffled collar. The colors are delicate pink and white swirled into clear glass for a magical and feminine appearance. The base of the vase has a large and rough pontil mark. Treat yourself to a little gem of a vase--you deserve it and it would look so nice!
