A beautiful example of "the best of the best" in vintage bakelite jewelry. Bowtie bangles are rare as hen's teeth, and the ones with beveled edges even more so. Bowtie bangles are pictured in all the bakelite jewelry books. Inner diameter is the standard vintage 2 and 1/2 inches. Width is 1/2 inch. Condition is excellent, with a few tiny holes (filling defects from time of manufacture, pretty commonly found in random dot and bowtie bangles) and normal scratches and signs of wear for a true ...

Charming vintage (circa late fifties/early sixties) clip in the shape of a round vase. It is hollow and designed to hold water and a small bouquet or sprig of green. Can also hold an artificial flower or other ornament. A great way to wear a flower that will last all day! Condition is good for its age. Overall dotting of tiny spots (tarnish?), hardly noticeable when worn (but photographed closely so you can see).
