This stunning opalescent glass dish was produced by Anchor Hocking between 1941 and 1946. The pattern is called Moonstone and the shape is a Heart Shaped nappy or bonbon. I'm pleased to offer you this signed piece of antique pressed glass which was produced and is signed by Portieux Crystal of France. It is a small Canape Plate in their seashell pattern and measures 4 7/8" in diameter. It is surprisingly heavy for it's size but is in relatively good condition with just two small chips on the underside of the rim and a little wear from age. The center of the plate has Portieux in raised lettering.
