This is such a lovely set of Metropolitan Museum of Art dishes for a child. It has 14 pieces that are all in very good unused condition. There are four 6 1/2"plates, four 1 1/4" high cups, four saucers that measure about 4 3/8", a lidded sugar bowl, and a cream pitcher. There is no teapot. Represented are Little Bo Peep, Little Jumping Joan, Little Tom Tucker, and Little Miss Muffet. The portraits and rhymes on each piece are slightly raised and create a nice, hand-painted effect.
